Updates

Another stellar night from Rajon Rondo. 23 points on 9 of 15 shooting, one 3, 5 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals ... albeit with 3 turnovers and 4 of 7 shooting from the free throw line. Paul Pierce was a pedestrian 6 of 15 from the floor, but contributed 12 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists, and 2 steals.

Good to see Allen Iverson back amongst the ranks of the living: 27 points on 11 of 18 shooting, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals ... but only 5 of 8 from the free throw line with 4 turnovers. I see a recurring theme here: turnover prone team with no ability to hit a free throw. In Iverson's case, the free throw shooting is especially disappointing given his career percentage (78%). You'll recall that he was 2 of 6 from the line a few nights earlier.

I started a trio of T-Wolves against the Clippers with mixed results. Telfair, Jefferson and Love combined to shoot a putrid 13 of 39 (and only 6 of 9 from the charity stripe). They did combine for 26 rebounds (17 from Jefferson, 8 from Love) and 11 assists (9 from Telfair), to go with 4 steals, 1 block, and only 2 turnovers.

Tony Parker had an uncharacteristically poor day from the field (3 of 11), but collected 2 steals and 10 assists.

For the day, 7 starters combined for:

- 107 points (15.3)
- 46 rebounds (6.6)
- 38 assists (5.4)
- 12 steals (1.7)
- 1 block (ouch)
- one 3 (ouch)
- 42-98 FGs (.429)
- 22-32 FTs (.6875 ... horrible -- on a night when Dwight Howard didn't even play)
-12 turnovers (1.7)

A mediocre scoring night (mainly because I started Telfair and Love), with nice rebounding and passing, great production in steals, and an above average performance in turnovers. Paired with awful shooting (both from the field and free throw line), little in the way of blocks or 3s.

Statistics since acquisition:

Allen Iverson (7 GP): 123 points (17.6), 46-104 FGs (.442), 29-45 FTs (.644), two 3s (0.3), 13 rebounds (1.9), 27 assists (3.9), 9 steals (1.3), 2 blocks (0.3), 15 turnovers (2.1)

Obviously a disappointment from the free throw line, in rebounds, assists, steals ... pretty much across the board. Let's hope tonight is the start of a turnaround.

Rajon Rondo (6 GP): 70 points (11.7), 27-59 (.458), 14-24 FTs (.583), two 3s (0.3), 36 rebounds (6.0), 65 assists (10.8), 14 steals (2.3), 2 blocks (0.3), 18 turnovers (3.0)
